Rules for reporting violations and whistleblower protection

Rules for reporting violations and whistleblower protection
In connection with the enactment of the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers of June 14, 2024, PFR TFI has implemented the “Procedure for Anonymous Reporting of Violations and Whistleblowing at PFR TFI.

The procedure is intended to establish rules for PFR TFI S.A. regarding whistleblowing, rules for making reports, and protection of whistleblowers from retaliation. The procedure establishes rules for handling and managing reports, including rules for investigations and follow-up.

What can you report?

According to Article 3(1) of the Law, a violation of the law is an act or omission that is unlawful or intended to circumvent the law concerning, among other things: corruption; public procurement; financial services, products and markets; anti-money laundering and terrorist financing; environmental protection; protection of privacy and personal data; security of information and communication networks and systems; financial interests of the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland, a local government unit and the European Union.

“Procedure for anonymous reporting of violations and irregularities at PFR TFI"  does not apply if the information about the violation concerns a violation of labor law, including undesirable behavior such as discrimination, mobbing, harassment, sexual harassment or unequal treatment. The manner and procedure for reporting such violations are regulated by separate internal regulations.

A whistleblower, when making a report, should have reasonable grounds for believing that the information about the violation being reported is true at the time of reporting and that such information constitutes information about a violation of law.

PFR TFI allows confidential or anonymous reporting of violations without fear of possible retaliation following such reporting.

How to make a notification?

In accordance with the adopted procedure at PFR TFI, we provide the possibility to report violations through various communication channels:

  • directly to the e-mail address: [email protected]
  • via application (which ensures full anonymity);
  • by letter sent by snail mail or courier, in a double envelope marked “confidential” to the address of PFR TFI S.A. headquarters;
  • orally, by telephone, at telephone no: 532-517-110, on a non-recorded telephone line, or in person to the Supervisor or Deputy Supervisor, during a face-to-face meeting arranged at the request of the Whistleblower.
