Piotr Dmuchowski
PFR TFI President of the BoardAn experienced financial market expert who developed his career at HSBC Poland for over a decade. Between 2008-2022, he held numerous key positions within the Global Markets division. From 2020-2022, he served as the Treasurer of HSBC Poland while also coordinating the ESG product offering across Central and Eastern Europe and emerging markets within the European time zone. During his time at the bank, he participated in significant transactions, including Poland’s pioneering Panda bond issuance in China and the country’s first-ever Green Bonds issuance. Since 2022, he has served as a board member of TFI PZU, overseeing the association’s investment division.
Co-founder and board member of the Poland Sustainable Investment Forum, as well as a member of the programme council of the think tank Institute for Reforms. In 2023, he contributed to the preparation of a report on "Just Transition" for the insurance sector, developed by UNEP FI and presented during COP28. In 2024, he also participated in the advisory group of EFRAG, working on the development of the CSRD sector standard for insurance companies.
A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, where he earned a First Class Master of Arts with Honours. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in Sustainable Business at the University of Cambridge, a postgraduate course in Private Market Investments at the University of Oxford, and a programme in Fintech at Stanford University.
An accomplished author in the field of sustainable finance, his work has been featured in prestigious academic journals with impact factors exceeding 9. He is frequently sought after as an expert in industry media and contributes insightful articles on key topics within sustainable finance.
